Advanced technology for pavements, trails, road base, subgrade, earthworks; erosion, sediment, dust control; earth retention, channel and slope protection
The GEOBLOCK Porous Pavement System provides vehicular
and pedestrian load support over grass areas while protecting
the grass from
the harmful effects of traffic.
GEOBLOCK Porous Pavement System

The GEOBLOCK Porous Pavement System is the solution for people who value engineering realities and want a product solution that meets engineering design requirements as well as promoting and protecting grass cover.  SSPCo is the company you want to be working with - a company widely versed in vegetated and environmentally attractive solutions and equally invested in appropriate application of technology for traffic bearing requirements.

As the mandate to reduce stormwater runoff in urban areas requires measures such as porous pavements and stormwater retention systems, the GEOBLOCK System emerges as unique in its capability to address engineering concerns for road and parking lot applications while also satisfying the desire of landscape architects for the natural beauty of grass and cost-effective, well-engineered porous pavement systems.

The GEOBLOCK System is the best because it offers the highest level of performance. It is the only system engineered for design with standard flexible pavement design procedures and it utilizes an interlock system which spreads concentrated loads as no other porous pavement product can, flexing as a unit under loads which would break concrete.

The GEOBLOCK System is a series of interlocking, high-strength blocks made from recycled plastic materials. The system is designed to handle the most demanding turf protection and load support requirements while allowing for vigorous growth of turf grass. And the larger size, 0.50 m x 1.00 m x 50 mm (approximately 20 in. x 40 in. x 2 in.), is easier to handle and install

Key Features
Permeable Design 87% Open Surface
Interlocking Unit Design maximizes load distribution capability
Reduces rutting protects root of grass
Easy Installation reduces amount of site preparation, no special tools needed
