History of the Cellular Confinement System
Soil Stabilization Products Company, Inc. (SSPCo) has played a leading role in the implementation and advancement of Cellular Confinement System technology. Today, the products are used on a worldwide basis for earth retention, slope protection, channel protection and many additional types of uses beyond the road, runway, load support and military applications originally envisioned during the early R&D phase with the Army Corps of Engineers. SSPCo has had significant involvement thoughout this expansion of the range of application of cellular confinement and continues to be at the leading edge of application and innovation with cellular confinement technology.
